Gastro Intestinal

is formulated for the nutritional management of cats with acute and chronic gastro intestinal disorders. This is achieved through highly digestible ingredients and a high energy content.

Recommended for (indications):

  • Acute and chronic diarrhoea
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Maldigestion, malabsorption
  • Convalescence
  • Bacterial overgrowth
  • Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency
  • Gastritis
  • Colitis
  • Anorexia

Not recommended for (contraindications):

  • Pancreatitis or history of pancreatitis
  • Hyperlipidaemia
  • Lymphangiectasia
  • Hepatic encephalopathy

HEALTHY DIGESTION Helps maintain a healthy digestive system through the combination of fermentable fibres (beet pulp and FOS) and specific nutrients.

HIGH ENERGY This formula is high in energy to help compensate for the reduced appetite and food intake of sick or recovering cats.

HIGHLY APPETISING Cats suffering from digestive troubles often show a decreased appetite and weight loss. The right balance of ingredients makes this diet highly appetising for cats experiencing digestive upsets.

COMPOSITION: dehydrated poultry protein, rice, animal fats, maize gluten, vegetable fibres, wheat gluten*, hydrolysed animal proteins, minerals, egg powder, beet pulp, fish oil, yeasts, soya oil, fructo-oligo-saccharides, psyllium husks and seeds, hydrolysed yeast (source of manno-oligo-saccharides), marigold extract (source of lutein).

ADDITIVES (per kg): Nutritional additives: Vitamin A: 21900 IU, Vitamin D3: 800 IU, E1 (Iron): 35 mg, E2 (Iodine): 2.7 mg, E4 (Copper): 6 mg, E5 (Manganese): 46 mg, E6 (Zinc): 150 mg, E8 (Selenium): 0.06 mg - Preservatives - Antioxidants.

ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS: Protein: 32% - Fat content: 22% - Crude ash: 8.5% - Crude fibres: 5.2% - Per kg: Sodium: 6 g - Potassium: 10 g - Omega 3 fatty acids: 7.5 g - Omega 6 fatty acids: 43.1 g - EPA/DHA: 3.1 g - Metabolisable energy: 4076 kcal. *L.I.P.: protein selected for its very high assimilation.



Feeding Advice:

In acute cases it is recommended Gastro Intestinal be feed for at least 3 weeks. Lifetime feeding may be necessary in cases of chronic disease. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use.

It is recommended to divide the daily intake into 2 meals
