Product Description
The foam filter insert will function effectively to remove dirt and floating debris from the aquarium. The numerous attachment nodes in the foam also allows for the establishment of thriving colonies of nitrifying bateria to aid the biological balance of the biosphere. This foam insert may be used for fresh or salt water.
Each filter insert is specifically developed for use with the Aquaclear powerfilters.
AquaClear 20 is used in the AquaClear Mini
AquaClear 30 is used in the Aquaclear 150 and Aquaclear Junior powerfilters.
AquaClear 50 is used in the Aqua Clear 200 and Aqua Clear 610 powerfilters.
AquaClear 70 is used in the Aqua Clear 300, 70 and Aqua Clear 1200 power filters.
AquaClear 110 is used in the Aqua Clear 500 and Aqua Clear 2000 power filters.
Instructions:
Rinse foam filter insert thoroughly and place on the bottom of the compartment in your Aquaclear filter. Once a week the insert should be rinsed and replaced as often as is needed. When replacement is necessary replace the insert but not the carbon at the same time. This allows the biological action of the nitrifying bacteria to remain uninterrupted. The rinsing of the foam insert should be done in used aquarium water.
