Helpful hints
- To find contaminated areas, lightly spray Odarid around until you see white foam, then treat those areas as directed.
- Always remove excess residues before treating contaminated areas
- Odarid is safe to use around humans and animals, but should never be sprayed directly onto them
- Always test carpet, rugs, fabric etc for colourfastness in an inconspicuous area as some dyes are unstable
- If you have already tried using other chemical or cleaners on the contaminated area but are still experiencing odour problems, allow to dry completely before using Odarid
- Always wear a protection gloves as skin irritation may occur on sensitive skin
- If you are going to have your carpets cleaned, do so afer you have removed all urine with Odarid
- If you have walked in urine, treat the sole of you shoe with Odarid so you do not spread urine residue around.
Direction for Use
Carpets, Rugs, Fabric, Bedding, and Upholstery
New urine
- Remove as much urine as possible by absorbing with old towel or paper towel and throw away
- Completely saturate the area(s) with Odarid and allow to air dry
Old Urine
- Lightly spray Odarid around until you see contaminated areas foaming
- Completely saturate the contaminated area(s) with Odarid (and carpet underlay if necessary)
- Allow to air dry. Using a dehumidifier or a wet vacuum to remove excess liquid will assist drying time
Concrete
- First treatment on concrete may be diluted 1 part odaried to 1 part warm water
- Follow up treatment and maintenance - use a dilution of 1 part Odarid to 5 part warm water
Tiles, Grout, Wood Flooring, Decking, Plastic
- Apply Odarid onto contaminated area(s) and leave product to work until it stops foaming
- Mop up using fresh water and allow to air dry
Chipboard or Plywood Sub Flooring
- Completely saturate the contaminated area(s) with full strenght Odarid
- Allow to dry. To assist the drying process in humid or cold weather, use a dehumidifier or wet vac
- Where contamination is heavy, repeat treatments will continue to break down odour forming uric acids and salts
Human Incontinence
- Saturate the entire contaminated area of garment or bed linen with full strengh Odarid
- Leave for at least 10 minutes before washing as usual
