The period from 5 to 8 months is one of gradual consolidation, during which the Giant puppy reaches 90% of its adult size. At this stage, it is fundamental to have a successful balance between weight gain and mineralization of the skeleton to avoid any risk of bone deformation. Controls the growth rate and reduces the risk of excess weight by means of a moderate energy supply (3968 kcal/kg) and L-carnitine that helps mobilise the fat reserves. Ensures a solid skeleton and joint construction by means of optimal calcium (200 to 400 mg ingested per kg body weight) and phosphorus contents (0.95%) and the presence of chondroitin and glucosamine to protect the joints. Strengthens digestive safety by means of very digestible proteins, a reduced starch content (27%) mainly derived from rice, insoluble minerals, fructo-oligosaccharides and sugar beet pulp for a balanced intestinal flora and omega 3 fatty acids to limit the risks of intestinal inflammation.
