Pet Photo of the Month Competition
We're getting a fantastic response to our Pet Photo of the Month competition - thanks to everyone who has taken the time to upload a photo. All photos will stay on show in our galleries for us all to enjoy. Thanks also to AsureQuality – accredited pet boarding premises - for helping with our "Judges' choice". Tips for taking a really good shot of your pet
- Get in close to your subject
- Keep it simple - watch out for distractions on the edges and in the background
- Ensure the face and eyes of your pet are very sharp and in focus
- Consider your composition - don't place the centre of attention e.g the face, bang in the middle of your picture
- Avoid harsh sunlight when taking your picture - this creates too much contrast
