This is an electric blanket especially made for animals. Perfect for pets that feel the cold! Also ideal for unwell pets, elderly pets or pets recuperating after injury. Place the heating pad under your pets usual blanket and your best friend will be warm all night, giving you peace of mind knowing that your friend is cosy and comfortable.
The Argus Heating Pad comes in two convenient sizes. This size is suitable for medium dogs. There is also a smaller pad available for cats & small dogs - see Argus Electric Heat Pads (cats & small dogs)
Sizes:
Small - 35 x 34 cm (octagonal shape) (8watt, 230v) picture on additional image below;
Large - (as pictured here) - 53 x 33 cm (rectangular shape) (15 watt, 230v)
One heat setting - simply regulate the heat by the number of blankets you put on top of the pad.

Product Information
- Please remember the insulation layer under the pad is important as it pervents heat escaping from the pet pad
- Put 1 or 2 blankets under the heatpad (this is the insulation layer). Lay the heatpad flat over the blankets.
- It's very important that the heatpad is placed flat.
- Put another blanket - single layer over the heatpad making sure to cover the cord so your pet can't see it
- Plug heatpad into wall socket and switch on.
- After about 10 minutes put your hand on the heatpad, it should feel warm. If it is too warm you may need to take out one blanket from underneath.
- Please be aware that some pets display nesting habits that can sometimes scrunch up the heatpad which can cause the heatpad to overheat so please be vigilant and ensure the heatpad remains flat at all times.
- If the heatpad is used on your bed, it may overheat because of the insulation underneath (your bedding)
Hint: Some customers have found that attaching a timer (available from hardware or electrical stores) to the plug means that the heatpad can be turned on and off at set times.
